The Parsonage inn, circa 1883, is located at 210 North Talbot Street at the NW end of the National Historic District of St. Michaels, Maryland. When the National Historic District was established in 1972, this building was described by Paul Touart; "one of St. Michaels most extravagant examples of late nineteenth-century domestic architecture." It features extensive brick detailing, especially in the paneled brick chimneys. Built by Henry Clay Dodson around 1883, it was later known as the Dr. Joseph Seth House. Seth had married Dodson's daughter and came to own the home. In 1924, Dr Seth sold this house to the Union United Methodist Church where it served as "the Parsonage" until the Workman family purchased it in 1985 and converted it to a Bed & Breakfast Inn. We invite you to stay with us to enjoy an authentic, full-service inn plus all that our charming town and historic area have to offer.
